WELCOME TO HOLY CROSS
​WE OFFER a play-based preschool educational program in a safe and warm environment, with daily "Jesus time" and bi-monthly chapel visits. All children are welcome – applications are accepted for children of any faith, race, or ethnic origin.

OUR SCHOOL was founded over 40 years ago as an educational ministry of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We are located within the church building and have access to many wonderful spaces and amenities including meeting rooms, full kitchen, a professionally designed outdoor playground as well as 4 classrooms carefully and lovingly designed with our preschoolers in mind. STAFF & TEACHER INFORMATION

FIRST AND FOREMOST every staff member must have a warm heart, friendly smile, and a love for preschool children! Our teachers' tenures range from 5-25 years, and each have children that attended HCLP!
OUR TEACHERS are dedicated, energetic and set the stage for lifelong learning. Each has a background in education, many years of experience, and participate in on-going professional development activities and workshops to stay current with educational trends and to adapt to the changing needs of children and families.

Each class has one teacher. Teacher assistants are added based on class size.

HCLP is licensed by the state of Maryland.

- First Aid Certification
- Fingerprinted through the State of Maryland Criminal Justice Information Systems

Need more time in your day? We welcome your kiddos to join us for Lunch Bunch!
NEW FOR THE 2024-2025 YEAR: Now open to our 2, 3 and 4 year old friends, Monday through Friday from 11:45am-2:15pm! The cost is $25 per day with advanced notice or $30 per day with less than 24 hour notice.
Sign up for 8 days per month and all additional days that month will be $20 per day!
